H3C UniServer R5500 G6 is equipped with a new 8-GPU module, with eight enterprise-class high-performance GPUs to realize high-speed inter-chip interconnections. H3C UniServer R5500 G6 adopts an advanced modular design, and the five modules of the whole machine, namely, GPU compute module, CPU compute module, hard disk module, fan module, and power supply module, can be independently plugged and unplugged for maintenance, and the 8U architecture makes R5500 G6 perfectly adapted to GPUs in terms of heat dissipation, power supply, and I/O expansion to give strong performance. This enables the R5500 to simultaneously deploy a wide range of applications such as deep learning model training, deep learning inference, high performance computing, data analytics, etc., with enhanced performance and unprecedented flexibility.
The H3C UniServer R5500 G6 compute module supports up to two AMD EPYC processors or Intel® Xeon® 4th/5th Generation Scalable processors, which can achieve a 90% performance increase and a 50% core count increase; and the dual-processor memory capacity can be as much as 12 TB. the new generation of server I/O can achieve PCIe 5.0 bandwidth rates, up to 100% data bandwidth increase over previous generation. With the ability to support 29 2.5-inch hard disks (up to 12 NVMe), users can get more than 200TB ofstockpileSpace.
