The completely redesigned HPE ProLiant DL580 Gen10 server features a scalable 4U form factor that delivers 4P computing with support for up to four Intel® Xeon® Platinum and Gold processors. The processors provide up to 281 TP3T of performance increase and 171 TP3T of core increase over the previous generation.
Up to 48 DIMM slots support up to 6TB of 2933MT/s HPE DDR4 SmartMemory.HPE DDR4 SmartMemory reduces data loss and downtime with enhanced error handling while improving workload performance and power efficiency.
HPE FlexibleLOM adapters are available in a wide range of options to provide a variety ofreticulationspeeds (1GbE~25GbE) and architectures that enable you to adapt to changing and growing business needs.
HPE innovations, enabled by Intelligent System Tuning, improve workload performance through internal resource optimization using custom profiles, increasing throughput for all workloads, including latency-sensitive workloads such as high-frequency trading enabled by jitter smoothing.
Significant scalability and availability for multiple workloads
The HPE ProLiant DL580 Gen10 server has a flexible processor tray that allows the server to scale from one to four processors as needed, saving upfront costs; it is also designed with a flexible drive bay that supports up to 48 small form factor (SFF) SAS/SATA drives and up to 20 NVMe drives.
The server supports up to 16 PCIe 3.0 expansion slots, including up to four full-length/full-height graphics processing units (GPUs) and network cards that provide greater scalability orstockpileController.
The server also supports up to four HPE 800W or 1600W flexible slot power supplies with an energy efficiency of 96%, enabling greater power redundancy through 2+2 configurations and flexible voltage ranges.

HPE offers industry-standard servers with its own BMC (HPE iLO5) silicon design. This silicon has been physically altered to protect most of the underlying server firmware, including HPE iLO, UEFI, IE, ME, and SPLD. the positioning of the HPE silicon creates a truly protective silicon root of trust (Root of Trusted Silicon).
HPE iLO Advanced Premium Security Edition brings millions of lines of firmware code to life before the server operating system boots and the operating environment firmware is verified, and server firmware is checked every 24 hours to verify the validity and trustworthiness of the underlying system firmware.
Secure Recovery allows the server firmware to be rolled back to its last known good state or factory settings after a leaked code is detected.
The Trusted Platform Module (TPM/TCM) provides additional security options to prevent unauthorized access to the server; and triggers the Intrusion Detection Kit to log in and alert when the server cover is removed, securing components stored on the server.
Accelerated ITAgile Infrastructure Management for Service Delivery
The combination of HPE ProLiant DL580 Gen10 servers and HPE OneView software provides the infrastructure for simplified management across servers, storage and networks with automated operations.
Server lifecycle management is available with a suite of embedded, downloadable tools, including Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI), Intelligent Provisioning; HPE iLO 5 for monitoring and management; HPE iLO Amplifier Pack, Smart Update Manager (SUM) and Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP).
